Maddy's Birthday

My sister turned 15 this year on September 19. She wanted a giant cupcake with pudding and strawberries in the middle, and a chocolate ganache frosting.

Summer Fun!

Bear Lake is one of my absolute favorite places! I just love going to our house and spending a week there in the summer! It's so relaxing and there are tons of fun things to do! One new thing I got to do this year was learn how to make a homemade rhubarb pie! We made one with strawberries and one with blueberries and strawberries. It was so much fun doing this with my grandma, it's one of those things that I will always remember!

Easter

For the past 2 years on Easter I have been making Easter Egg cakes. Well this year my Great-Uncle called me and asked me for his very own egg. Since I make one to take to my grandmas anyways, I got to make 2 this year. The green one was my uncles and the purple was for all of my family.

Zucchini Bread

My family loves chocolate chip zucchini bread. Every year my mom grows zuchinni in her garden and we end up with TONS of it! This year I made 6 batches which ended up being 12 loaves of bread! No we did not eat it all but I am sure if I hadn't given it away to neighbors it would have been gone in a week!

Maggie's Baby Blessing

For my cousin Maggies baby blessing my Aunt Meili taught me how to make cake pops. These take a long time cause there are a lot of steps. It was a great little dessert to just pop in your mouth and the were very delicious!

The Fourth of July

Now this was a very sweet treat! There were layers of angel food cake, cream, strawberries, and blueberries. this was a quick and easy dish that everyone loved!

Halloween

I did not make these cupcakes but I was there to help decorate! They were really cute! My Aunt Meili is really talented at making food look really good. She knows how to make it presentable, and make the pictures she takes make it look even better! Visit her blog at meiliware.blogspot.com

Easter Bunny

Every year for Easter Sunday my Grandma makes a bunny cake. This year I wanted to try and make it. Well that day I was watching my little cousin Maggie, so I stuck her in the Bumbo and began to work! As I finished frosting the pink bunny I started to clean up. I could swear I had only turned around for 3 seconds and when I looked back Maggie had her hand in my cake!! AHHHHH!! I couldn't believe it! haha I looked at her and than my cake, realizing she hadn't gotten to far, I calmed down. She had Frosting all over her face! knowing there was NO way I could get mad I started laughing cause she looked like she was enjoying the frosting just as much as everyone else did. :)

Cookies

Cookies to me are simple and easy, so when I found out that for an activity in my young women's we were decorating them I knew I had to be there! I learned a lot about using frosting on cookies and how to make the background look smooth. I did not decorate all of these cookies but my leader did and they were really good so I took them!

Sweet 16!

Call me crazy but I made my own Sweet 16 birthday cake. Most people would make someone else make a cake for their birthday and knowing my mom she would have just gone to Costco. I knew exactly how I wanted my cake and that is why I did it. My obsession right now is Zebra and pink so everything had to be that way especially my cake! Of course this cake wouldn't have been enough for all of my party goers so I made a bunch of fondant cupcakes to go with it!

Valentines Day Cake

This cake was for Valentines day for my whole family. This was a really rich cake, with Chocolate being the cake on the inside and my homemade Chocolate Ganache on the outside. This was a very tasty cake and everyone enjoyed it!

Lollipop Cake

My lollipop cake was one of my favorite cakes to make! I definitely did not do this one on my own, I had tons of help from my young women's leader, Jen. This cake was for my Young Women in Excellence night. The theme of our evening was "Sweet Shop."

Piano Cake

My friend from school had seen my cakes on facebook and asked me to do this cake for her friend, Ethan for his 16 birthday. this cake was really fun for me to make. I loved the purple and the black together and the thought of a piano going across the cake.

Team Cakes

My cousin, Chloe, and my sister, Maddy and I decorated these cakes one night just for fun. Maddy's was for her dance studio, and Chloe's was for her cheer team.

Polka Dot Cake

Presesnt Birthday Cake

This cake was for my brother, Marcus, my cousin, Sydney, and my other cousin, Porter. Their birthdays are all within the same week

University of Utah Cake

This is the first cake I ever made. My dad is the biggest UofU fan, so for his birthday I made him this cake.
